I began my career in the electronics industry, fulfilling R&D roles in Australia and Canada. I subsequently became a Partner at Arthur Hiess and Associates in Vancouver. I have since spent more than 25 years assisting clients to access R&D incentives in Canada, Singapore, China and Australia. I spent 16 years in KPMG’s R&D tax incentive team, including a decade as a Partner. Prior to founding RnD360 with my partners, I was Special Counsel at PwC. I am a registered tax agent. I still find R&D fascinating and take pride in helping clients to grow their businesses strategically, with integrity.

I’ve had over 20 years’ hands-on experience in senior R&D roles in large multinational companies and was General Manager of a small engineering company. I spent 14 years with KPMG and PwC, providing R&D tax incentive advice to large corporates and SMEs in fast-moving consumer goods, consulting engineering, construction, mining, electrical and chemical engineering, agriculture and aquaculture. I have worked in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China and North America, developing strong rapport with diverse clients and gaining broad and deep technical and commercial knowledge. I strive to make the complex simple and the ambiguous clear, helping clients avoid nasty surprises and achieve success.

For over twenty years, I was an R&D engineer and project manager in the electronics, software and telecommunications industries. Since 2006, I have specialised as an R&D incentives adviser with KPMG and PwC, working in Australia and Singapore across diverse industries: ICT, electrical, semiconductors, gaming, logistics, chemical, mechanical engineering, automotive, manufacturing, construction, mining, oil and gas, marine engineering, aquaculture and agriculture. I leverage my extensive network to help clients achieve their goals. I enjoy gaining deep understanding of clients’ businesses and R&D and collaborating to reduce risk and build value.

With over 18 years of experience in corporate advisory, my professional journey has included significant roles at prominent organisations. At KPMG, I specialised in global mobility tax and R&D tax incentives. At the National Australia Bank, I held various HR positions, refining my expertise in relationship management. I later returned to R&D tax incentives at PwC before joining the RnD360 Advisory Group. My work has spanned businesses of all sizes across industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, engineering, construction, sustainability, biotechnology, and IT. I am deeply committed to delivering professional service and the highest quality of work to our clients.

I have over 10 years’ experience in assisting companies with R&D tax incentives in roles at KMPG, PwC and now RnD360. I have helped companies from a wide range of industries to access R&D tax incentives in both Australia and China. My technical background is in Chemical Engineering, I hold a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Prior to joining KPMG I worked as a Chemical Engineer in the Ink Manufacturing Industry, specifically in the areas of new product development, product improvement and manufacturing process improvement. In my role at RnD360, I enjoy working with clients to ensure their R&D tax incentive claims are of a high quality and that they receive the best service we can provide.

I joined the RnD360 team in May 2022 having previously worked as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Chemistry at the University of Melbourne. Over 7 years, I built up extensive research experience in inorganic chemistry and radiochemistry research, including a research placement at King’s College London. I am a strong advocate for improving and expanding science education, information, and outreach, with experience in laboratory teaching, demonstrating and examination protocols. I’m excited to be part of the RnD360 team and look forward to pairing my passion for scientific research with my commitment to helping clients achieve their best outcomes.

With over 10 years of experience in R&D tax claims and a double degree in Commerce and Computer Science, I am a chartered accountant specialising in R&D Tax Incentives with a focus on software claims. My career includes extensive experience at KPMG, including a secondment at Telstra and collaborating with clients across various industries. I have worked with businesses of all sizes, from large corporations to start-ups, helping them with R&D funding for their innovative technology solutions. My expertise ensures businesses maximise their R&D tax benefits while meeting all regulatory requirements. Committed to delivering exceptional service, I assist clients in securing maximum financial support for their eligible R&D activities.

I joined the RnD360 team in December 2023, previously I worked as a crop scientist undertaking agricultural research in crop physiology, agro-chemical development, and post-harvest horticulture. I have a PhD in plant physiology and biophysics investigating the physiological mechanisms of salinity tolerance. I am passionate about commercially relevant scientific research and development. I am excited to be part of the RnD360 team and look forward to working with a wide range of clients bringing my passion for research to help them.

My experience in the chemical and food tech industries, coupled with my honours degree in bio-medical chemistry, equip me with a deep understanding of research and development complexities. I excel at translating intricate scientific concepts into clear and concise language, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
